Mandates

The Bacacay Water District, with its mandate contained in Presidential Decree 198 otherwise known as “The Provincial Water Utilities Act of 1973” as amended by Presidential Decree Nos. 768 and R.A. 9286 which provides:

National Policy favoring local operation and control of water systems, authorizing the formations of local water districts providing for the government and administration of such districts, chartering a national administration to facilitate improvement of local water utilities; granting said administrations, such powers are necessary to optimize public service from water utility operations, and for other purposes.

Vision

A Water District that is viable, self-reliant, credible and socially responsible delivering optimum service to the community.

Mission

To provide the community with safe adequate and reliable water supply at reasonable water rates.
